That’s right, little Red ain’t so little anymore, in fact she’s a tree climbing, fast running, sex having, able to speak to wolves kinda gal these days.
Turns out, Red is grown up and in love with Peter but betrothed to Henry, son of the town’s rich man played by Stargate’s Michael Shanks. And while he looks damn good he is killed by the wolf early on because you find out he had an affair with the wolf’s wife and she had his child but passed it off as the wolf’s.
Yep, the wolf takes human form by day.
I won’t tell you who the wolf is, it will ruin it if you haven’t seen it, but there are plenty of possible suspects, lots of blood, lots of gore and definitely not that scary in the grand scheme of horror flicks.
Apparently the alternate ending has a surprise I would not have known about had I not gone to IMDB and trolled through the pages for this movie. What it does mean is that at least one year or more passes from when the wolf leaves town and comes back to see Valerie (Amanda’s character).
I won’t give too much away but I’m sure you’ve already seen it.
