I watched 2012 way back in 2010 on dvd which I blogged about here, and it was on tv again for the millionth time since first airing, and for the millionth time I watched it again.
Why?
I LOVE DISASTER MOVIES!!!!
I have never seen special effects like these and there are so many of them. You even see people hanging from falling buildings and in the train that goes over the plane, it’s absolutely mind blowing. Between California tearing apart, Yellowstone blowing up, Las Vegas sinking into a pile of sand or Hawaii burning like the volcano it is, the effects keep going right up until the end of the movie, making it for me, the best disaster movie for effects that I have seen so far.

How have I not seen this film yet? I think i avoided it because I saw it as Sci-fi… now it's history lol x

I don't know if it would come under sci-fi, I put it under disaster as it's the world's natural disasters tearing the world apart. Love the special effects!
