I finally got to watch The Man From U.N.C.L.E over the summer holidays, a good copy that is and not a dodgy version online, and I gotta say it was actually quite good.
It wasn’t the best movie ever, but if you love action movies, or movies based on tv shows, which there are a tonne of, and both Henry and Armie have been in movies made from tv shows (Superman and The Lone Ranger which was a good movie too), then this is a good movie to watch for a few hours.
With an appearance by Hugh Grant, the movie goes on a tad too long, but there’s plenty of action and double crossings, plus some fun comedic parts thrown in.
The one thing that irked me was Solo was supposed to be this big professional spy, yet he drank the drink. Don’t you know you never drink a drink your enemy offers you!
As for Henry and Armie, aren’t they disgustingly good looking!
And I mean disgusting, just look at how disgustingly good looking they are…

Just too, too disgusting. Oh, way too disgustingly good looking…yes…way too good looking to look at…way to good looking….
Here’s the trailer just so you can see how disgustingly good looking they are in the movie…

You are certainly right about these two being good looking. Wow, even if the movie was bad they would be nice to look at. I haven't seen the movie but my brother used to watch the TV series when we were kids. I couldn't get into it so I guess when the movie came out I was pretty apathetic about it. I might try to watch it some afternoon when the weather keeps me indoors.
